Savrly Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how CSK Tech Solutions, LLC, doing business as Savrly and Savrly.io, collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use the Savrly mobile application, website, backend services, account tools, support channels, and related services.

Savrly is a grocery planning, price comparison, receipt, barcode, budget, recipe, and AI assistance service. We use personal information to provide those requested features, protect the service, improve product quality, and comply with legal obligations.

Information We Collect

• Account and contact information, such as email address, name if provided, sign-in provider, account identifiers, password or authentication data handled through our authentication provider, support contact details, and subscription status.
• Profile information, such as country, ZIP or postal code, household size, grocery budget, preferred stores, dietary preferences, goals, cooking skill, and similar saved settings.
• Location information, including country, ZIP or postal code, approximate location, and precise location while using the app if you choose to allow location access.
• Shopping information, including grocery lists, home cart items, saved recipes, barcode lookups, store preferences, price confirmations, receipt store/date/total, receipt line items, and pricing interactions.
• Receipt, image, voice, and chat content that you choose to submit, including receipt images, receipt OCR text, recipe or list images, shelf or product photos submitted by approved admins, voice-derived grocery text, chat messages, support messages, and screenshots.
• Usage and analytics data, such as app interactions, feature usage, session identifiers, and events used to improve reliability and product quality.
• Device, diagnostics, and security data, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, performance data, IP address or network metadata, device tokens for notifications, and security logs.
• Payment and subscription data from Apple and RevenueCat. Savrly does not receive or store your full payment card number.
• Website data, such as browser/device information, pages visited, referral information, IP address, cookies or similar technologies, and server logs when you visit a Savrly website.
• Information from third-party sources, such as Apple or Google sign-in, Apple and RevenueCat subscription status, mapping/place providers, retailer catalog or weekly-ad sources, barcode/product databases, receipt or OCR providers, AI providers, and service providers that help detect abuse or operate the service.

Optional Permissions and Sensitive Information

Savrly may ask for optional access to location, camera, photo library, microphone, speech recognition, and push notifications. These permissions support nearby-store discovery, receipt and barcode scanning, recipe or list photo parsing, spoken grocery-list entry, and account or savings notifications. You can change these permissions in your device settings.

Savrly does not currently request access to your contacts, SMS messages, Bluetooth data, or Facebook account data for core app features.

Some information you choose to provide, such as precise location, account login information, dietary preferences, receipt contents, grocery budget, support screenshots, or health/religion-related grocery preferences, may be considered sensitive under some laws. We use sensitive information to provide requested features, protect the service, comply with law, and support users. We do not use sensitive information to infer characteristics for third-party advertising.

How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve Savrly.
• Create and manage your account.
• Confirm supported markets and apply availability limits, including the current exclusion of Quebec.
• Find nearby stores, compare grocery prices, calculate savings, and provide grocery recommendations.
• Process receipts, images, barcodes, lists, recipes, voice-derived grocery text, and chat requests.
• Maintain chat history, saved recipes, grocery lists, budgets, receipts, and support interactions.
• Build and improve local grocery price coverage using de-identified or aggregated pricing observations, product observations, store observations, and weekly-ad information.
• Use shopping interactions, receipt outcomes, accepted or rejected suggestions, price feedback, and related service events to improve product matching, recommendations, substitutions, replacements, and price intelligence.
• Send account, support, password reset, subscription, and service-related communications.
• Send push notifications you enable, such as budget alerts, price drops, weekly savings recaps, account notices, or admin review alerts.
• Review support requests, screenshots, price-quality warnings, promo-review queues, and admin submissions when needed by authorized personnel to operate and improve Savrly.
• Debug crashes, monitor reliability, enforce usage limits, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Receipts, Images, Voice, Chat, and AI Processing

Savrly may process receipt images, OCR text, recipe/list images, voice-derived grocery text, and chat messages to provide app features. This content may be sent to service providers that help with OCR, receipt parsing, AI assistance, product matching, grocery recommendations, and safety checks. Depending on the feature and configuration, these providers may include on-device Apple OCR, receipt-processing providers, and AI model providers such as Anthropic or OpenAI.

Before Savrly sends personal data to third-party AI model providers for AI features, the app asks for your permission and explains what may be sent and who may receive it. To help generate better results, Savrly may send your chats, grocery lists, receipt text/photos, recipe photos, saved monthly grocery budget, and store information to third-party AI services such as Anthropic or OpenAI. Savrly does not send your full Budget tab history.

Receipt photos are processed in memory by our backend to extract store, date, total, and line-item information, then immediately discarded; they are not retained on our servers. Only the structured line item data, receipt metadata, and parsed summaries may be stored, subject to your account retention preferences, so we can provide budget tracking, price history, and savings recommendations. Receipt line-item prices may also improve store-level price history without making your account identity or full receipt available to other users.

Please avoid submitting receipts, images, support screenshots, or chat messages that contain sensitive information unrelated to grocery savings.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your receipt, chat, grocery, location, or profile data to target third-party ads.

• Service providers that help us run Savrly, including cloud hosting, database and authentication, crash/error reporting, analytics, mapping, receipt processing, AI assistance, email/support, push notification, and payment/subscription tools.
• Sign-in and payment providers when you use Apple, Google, or subscription features.
• Retailer, pricing, mapping, OCR, or AI providers when needed to provide requested app features.
• Authorized personnel, contractors, or reviewers who need access to operate support, security, pricing-quality, or admin-review workflows.
• Legal authorities or other parties if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to prevent fraud or abuse.

Savrly may use PostHog to process limited product analytics, such as screen views, time spent on app areas, session identifiers, a hashed non-reversible account identifier, feature event categories, and bucketed metrics. Savrly does not send PostHog grocery item names, store names, receipt text or images, chat content, exact prices, raw savings amounts, or payment details for this product analytics purpose.

Other Savrly users do not see your account identity, full receipts, photos, support screenshots, or chat messages. De-identified or aggregated pricing observations may be used to improve Savrly's price and product data.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide Savrly, improve the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You may delete your account in the app or contact us at privacy@savrly.io.

When you delete your account, Savrly deletes or detaches account-linked data where reasonably possible. Some de-identified or aggregated pricing observations, store-level price history, analytics, security logs, records required for legal or fraud-prevention purposes, and backup copies may remain for a limited period or in a form that is no longer linked to your account.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transmission, access controls, service-provider controls, logging, rate limits, abuse prevention, and database security rules. While we work to protect your information, no security measure is perfect.

Your Rights and Choices

• Request access to your data.

• Update or correct your personal information.
• Withdraw optional permissions such as location, camera, microphone, speech recognition, or photo library access through your device settings.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Ask questions or challenge our privacy practices.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, withdraw consent, complain to a regulator, appeal certain decisions where required, or limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Savrly does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's Privacy

Savrly is not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 may not create an account or use Savrly. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

International Data

Savrly operates in the United States and Canada, except Quebec. Your data may be processed in the United States, Canada, or other locations where our service providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards for cross-border processing and protect personal information according to this policy.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
